FLINGERN ATTIC

FLINGERN ATTIC is a symbiosis of our preferences for various types of electronic music as well as our great love for scrappy power chords. The musical style is a mix of "old school" and "modern" elements, which also reflects us personally.

The Düsseldorf band consists of Michael Leier aka M.D.Ramone and Tanja Reinhardt aka T.R. Lily.
The over a decade long wish to implement their common musical denominator in a musical band project took shape at the beginning of 2019 and was finally realised with the formation of FLINGERN ATTIC.

M.D.Ramone takes over the vocals, guitar, bass, synths, songwriting/lyrics as well as the graphic design & concept as he did with his previous band projects. In contrast to before, T.R. Lily not only plays the e-drums, but now also contributes vocals and e-bass to many songs. She is also actively involved in the songwriting and takes care of the media presence.

All songs were composed, recorded and mixed in their Düsseldorf ORANGE RED CORNER studio. The world-renowned producer and musician Thomas Detert from Airbase Media was enlisted for the mastering.

Musically, FLINGERN ATTIC feel inspired not only by Düsseldorf bands like Kraftwerk, Rheingold and Fehlfarben or international classics like The Beatles, David Bowie, Joy Division/New Order, Anne Clark, Fad Gadget/Frank Tovey, The Ramones, Depeche Mode and Duran Duran but also by artists like John Frusciante and The Editors or new German acts like Console and Drangsal.
